Niobium Round Bar is used in chemical, electrical, electronic and aviation industries. The material has high melting point and excellent corrosion resistance properties. Navstar Steel is a leading supplier and manufacturer of the ASTM B393 UNS RO4210 Rod in various dimensions and types. There are tubes, rods, bars and wires in this grade of material. The bar ranges from 0.125 inches to 5 inches in diameter.
The material is also strong so that the UNS R03400 Bar is used in nozzles of the airplane engines, aerospace industrial applications, nuclear reactors and in anti-corrosive parts of strong acidic processing plants. The thickness and length of the bars range with the width of the bars. The widths range from 15mm to 60mm and the lengths vary from 600mm to 1500mm. There are niobium grade 1 and grade 2. The difference is in the material composition.
The ASME SB393 Niobium Hex Bar as well as round bar has impurity contents such as tantalum, oxygen, nitrogen, carbon, silicon, iron, tungsten, molybdenum, titanium, aluminum, copper, chromium, nickel and zinc in the composition. The Hot Rolled Niobium Round Bar and other types have more than 99.95% niobium in the composition. The specification for the bars is ASTM B392-98.
